Construction activities are managed by full-service teams that include project managers, superintendents, mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) and safety specialists.

William E. Sordoni
President & Chief Executive Officer
Representing the fourth generation of Sordoni family leadership, Bill is responsible for strategic planning, operating and financial performance, business development, human resources, and client relations. He is very involved as a trustee and director for several regional civic organizations. Bill’s education includes a B.S. in Business Administration from Susquehanna University.

Matthew R. Sordoni
Vice President of Finance
Matthew is also part of the fourth generation of active family management for the business his great-grandfather founded in 1910. As Vice President, Matt will oversee business development and risk management. He also serves on several regional non-profit boards of directors. Matt earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College and his MBA from the ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
Jennifer Pocius Davis, LEED AP
Director of Design and Development
Jennifer Davis joined Sordoni in 2008 and in 2017 stepped into a new position as Director of Design-Build. She brings to the role a decade of experience in architectural design combined with nearly ten years of leadership at Sordoni. Jen’s responsibilities include helping owners choose the right delivery system for their projects, developing integrated teams of qualified professionals, and overseeing design-build project planning and execution. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and Green Advantage Certified Practitioner. Her education includes a BA in Design of the Environment and a Master of Architecture degree, both from the University of Pennsylvania.

Timothy C. O’Shea
Chief Business Officer
Tim joined Sordoni in 2017 as the Director of Strategic Development. As a member of the Leadership Team, he is responsible for developing and executing strategic and tactical plans related to marketing, business development, client relations, new markets and products that are consistent with the company’s overall growth strategy. Mr. O’Shea holds a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Delaware and an MBA from the University of Scranton.

Todd D. Rothermel
COO & Corporate Counsel
Todd joined Sordoni as Chief Operating Officer and Corporate Counsel in 2018. His 30+ years of experience includes projects within the industrial, healthcare, educational (including primary and secondary), retail, residential, warehouse, military, religious, government, automotive, sports, restaurants and entertainment sectors. Todd is responsible for overseeing the organization’s construction operations. Todd graduated from Syracuse University with a BS in Engineering and received his Juris Doctor from Widener University School of Law. He is a member of the PA State and Lehigh County Bar Associations specializing in Corporate Law.

Angelo J. Bertinelli
Director of Finance & Real Estate
Mr. Bertinelli has thirty-one years of experience with Sordoni and was promoted to Director of Finance & Real Estate in 2014. In his role, Mr. Bertinelli oversees the day-to-day operation of the Accounting Department and financial management of Sordoni Construction Services. His responsibilities also include the leasing and management of the real estate development properties of Tier II Properties, L.P. and Sordoni/Parente Families, LLC. Mr. Bertinelli holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Bloomsburg University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Wilkes University.

Noreen M. Bertinelli
Office Manager/Marketing Coordinator
Noreen Bertinelli fulfills a dual role at Sordoni as both Office Manager and Marketing Coordinator. She joined Sordoni’s Estimating Department in 2006. Noreen brings with her previous experience as a business owner and oversees the day-to-day operation of the office along with developing and implementing the company’s marketing strategy and strengthening client and community relationships.

James M. Miller
Director
Jim Miller joined Sordoni in 1973 as a layout engineer. Over his career, he has successfully engaged in multiple roles supporting the company’s overall growth and project execution. Mr. Miller currently supports the Leadership Team as a Director where he continues to lend his construction expertise across operational functions, including quality control, preconstruction, self-performance and special projects.
Maria K. Scappaticci
Director of Culture & Human Resources
Maria Scappaticci fulfills a dual role at Sordoni as both Director of Culture & Human Resources and Accounting Manager. She joined Sordoni’s finance department in 1991. Her twenty years of accounting experience, paired with her longevity at Sordoni, have enhanced her ability to oversee payroll, financial statement preparation and other miscellaneous accounting functions while also handling benefit administration, employee motivation and performance management. Ms. Scappaticci holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and Computers & Information Systems from King’s College and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Scranton.

Kimberly Fanning
Controller
Kim Fanning joined Sordoni in 2014 as Controller. In her role, Kim is focused on process improvement of accounts payable, cash management, equipment management and the overall month-end close and financial reporting process. Prior to joining Sordoni, Kim was an audit manager for a regional accounting firm and most recently held the position of Controller at a local health system. Kim holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and an M.B.A in Finance from the University of Scranton.

David Nealon
General Superintendent
Dave Nealon began his construction career in 1990 as a laborer for a Sordoni-affiliated company. He officially joined Sordoni in 1997 and spent his earlier career as Superintendent at the PPL (now Talen) nuclear plant in Berwick. Beginning in 2005, Dave moved from primarily supervising industrial work into commercial, retail, and higher education projects. He was promoted to Senior Superintendent in 2012 and then to his current role as General Superintendent in June 2017. Dave holds a B.S. in Business Administration from King’s College.
