In the last quarter of 2017, employees donated $320 to the Children’s Service Center. This donation was fully funded by the employees through participation in our “Dress Down Days” events. Employees are allowed to wear jeans to work on the last Friday of the month in exchange for a $5 donation. The collection from the first quarter of 2018 (a total of $345) was donated to the St. Vincent DePaul Soup Kitchen. Second quarter donations ($355) were given to the Luzerne County SPCA. To date, our employees have raised and donated over $1000 by wearing jeans! Go Team Sordoni!

Their mission is to collaborate with Quality Hill Park to restore and beautify the grounds and facilities to create a safe environment for families for generations to come.

Annual Thanksgiving Project

Thanksgiving is a time to reflect and be thankful for all that we have and a perfect time to lend a helping hand. This year, two groups of Sordoni employees chose to help the Commission of Economic Opportunity as our Annual Thanksgiving Project. We assisted in prepping bags which were then delivered to families in need. Each bag contained everything a family would need to prepare a Thanksgiving meal. There is always something to be thankful for, you just need to look.
