
Sordoni Construction Sordoni Construction Services served as the general contractor to transform the former North American Warhorse building at 119 Mulberry Street in Scranton into the new state-of-the-art headquarters building for NET Federal Credit Union. This two story, 18,660 SF renovation included partial demolition of the structure and a 2,160 SF rear addition for offices and extended teller area. The first floor features a glass-enclosed lobby with wood slat ceiling, large double-height lobby atrium, a teller area for banking with Corian countertops and 3form panels, frameless glass front offices, training room, kitchen/lounge for staff and restrooms. The second floor includes additional offices, a conference room, board room and open office area. At the exterior, there is a featured court yard, with a perforated metal sign at the front with additional signage throughout the parking lot, along with a 3-lane drive thru with ATM. New sidewalks, lighting, signage and landscaping also complement the totally revamped structure. NET held their grand opening on May 17, 2017. The project team consisted of Melissa Testa as Project Manager, Stan Wycoski as Superintendent, and Janet Skibinski as Project Administrative Assistant.
