Sordoni Construction Services was CM at Risk for the renovation of an existing 83,000 square foot warehouse in the Lehigh Valley. This building was converted into a high-tech, streamlined delivery center that represents the “last mile” of the online retailer’s operations delivery process.
The Sordoni team was able to work fluidly despite permit delays and inclement weather over a 90-day period to gain substantial completion within budget, on schedule, and to the standards specified. The project included self-performed demolition, concrete work, interior and exterior structure work, finish carpentry, specialty items, door frames and hardware.
Further, Sordoni’s team successfully coordinated the adoption of the client’s composite plan despite eight individual revisions that were communicated and captured on the fly during the project.
