Sordoni served as Construction Manager for the renovation of the 24,300 SF Geisinger Montage Primary Care Center at Lake View Commons in Moosic, PA.
The project transformed an existing building into a Primary Care Clinic, Convenient Care Clinic, and Nursing Education suite, including new X‑ray and ultrasound facilities. Work also included a full roof replacement to improve building performance. Sordoni self‑performed concrete and rough carpentry.
A major component of the renovation involved extensive trenching for new underground utilities to support numerous exam rooms and clinical spaces. Throughout construction, Sordoni ensured uninterrupted operations, including maintaining the building’s active data center. To keep Nursing Education areas functional, STARC wall panels were used as ICRA barriers, enabling safe, continuous use during construction.
This adaptive reuse project showcases Sordoni’s ability to execute complex renovations with careful coordination, safety, and minimal disruption to ongoing medical services.
