Iron Menace is a steel roller coaster located at Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom in Allentown, PA. This Dive Coaster model, manufactured by Bolliger & Mabillard, is based on an old steel mill that closed in the early 1900s following the mysterious disappearance of its owner. Iron Menace reaches a height of 160 feet, a maximum speed of 64 mph, and features four inversions: an Immelmann loop, a zero-g roll, an inclined loop, and a corkscrew.

Sordoni was selected as the construction manager for this ambitious project, which involved complex engineering, meticulous planning, and precise execution. Efficient coordination was crucial given the complexity of the project and the involvement of multiple stakeholders. Regular meetings and clear communication channels ensured that everyone was on the same page. The delivery of parts in incorrect sequences and delays posed significant challenges. Effective communication and coordination among different contractors were key to maintaining project momentum despite these setbacks. The presence of large, heavy equipment in a confined space also necessitated meticulous planning and execution.
