Sordoni was the Construction Manager for this 75,000 SF building at the heart of Marywood’s campus. More than a library, this technologically-advanced facility has a variety of learning spaces with most of the University’s collection contained in an Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS). The building includes open seating areas with computer access, study areas, staff offices, cafe/foodservice, open atrium and stair connecting all levels, conference rooms, seminar rooms, reading room, instruction rooms, collection storage areas, restrooms, terrace, and green roof. The new building is to be LEED “Silver” Certified.
