Sordoni was the CM for a major expansion and renovation of Misericordia’s athletic complex. The field house portion of the project received a Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program (RACP) grant.
The new 21,750 SF Metz Field House provides meeting and locker room space for the MU football, soccer, field hockey, track & field, baseball and lacrosse teams.
Adjacent to the field house, Tambur Field is a state-of-the art baseball complex with a special fescue-blend grass field.
Both Mangelsdorf Field, the football venue, and McGeehan Field, which is utilized for soccer, field hockey and lacrosse, were renovated and resurfaced with a FieldTurf synthetic grass surface.
