Sordoni Construction Services was selected as Construction Manager for the construction of the Pines Independent Living Units. The complex was constructed on a 4-acre site and consisted of 6 buildings, each with 6 living units, for a total of 36 units. Residents will enjoy independent living while also having access to the Mercy Center and Misericordia University.
Site development included new storm, sanitary, water, natural gas, electrical, telephone, and cable TV services. Roadways to each of the buildings were also provided.
The buildings were constructed utilizing wood frame construction and poured concrete foundations. Each unit included a full kitchen and bath with one or two bedrooms, a living room, and a one car garage.
