One of the great pleasures of my time at Sordoni has been getting to know and work with Dino Galli. During his distinguished career spanning more than 38 years with Sordoni, he has been involved in over 1,000 projects that extend across a large diversity of industries, building types and geographies. Early on in his tenure, he actually spent time with our NJ office budgeting and estimating an extensive corporate project. Using that newly founded knowledge and experience, he came back to Forty Fort where he was able to immediately apply those skills to local projects over the balance of his career.
Dino has been the consummate cornerstone to all of Sordoni’s preconstruction efforts. No matter how complicated, difficult or time constrained, Dino continually rallied his team to “get the job done” while meeting his own high expectations of accuracy and completeness.
Aside from his extensive industry knowledge and expertise, Dino is equally well known and respected for his thoughtful demeanor, witty humor and willingness to help others. There are few people I know for whom the term “gentleman” could be better applied.
Earlier this year, Dino announced his intention to retire at the end of 2018. His impact on Sordoni has been tremendous and through his work on our projects, he has helped improve the lives of countless individuals throughout our community. It is bittersweet, but well-deserved, that we wish Dino a healthy, happy retirement.
I speak on behalf of the entire Sordoni organization when I say that we are sincerely grateful for his dedication and commitment to our company.
