Construction activities are managed by full-service teams that include project managers, superintendents, mechanical/electrical/plumbing (MEP) and safety specialists.

William E. Sordoni
Chief Executive Officer

Representing the fourth generation of Sordoni family leadership, Bill is responsible for strategic planning, operating and financial performance, business development, human resources, and client relations. He is very involved as a trustee and director for several regional civic organizations. Bill’s education includes a B.S. in Business Administration from Susquehanna University.

Matthew R. Sordoni
President, Real Estate

Matthew is part of the fourth generation of active family management for the business his great-grandfather founded in 1910. As President, Real Estate, Matt oversees a diversified commercial real estate portfolio in Pennsylvania. He also serves on several regional non-profit boards of directors. Matt earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Muhlenberg College and his MBA from the ESADE Business School in Barcelona, Spain.

James M. Miller
Chief Operating Officer

Jim Miller joined Sordoni in 1973 as a layout engineer. Over his career, he has successfully engaged in multiple roles supporting the company’s overall growth and project execution. As Chief Operating Officer, Jim is responsible for ensuring business operations are efficient and effective as he looks to continue Sordoni's success in providing clients with construction solutions to meet their evolving needs.

Angelo J. Bertinelli
Vice President, Real Estate

Mr. Bertinelli has over forty years of experience with Sordoni.   As Vice President, Real Estate, Angelo is responsible for the overall management and leasing of the real estate development properties.  He holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration/Accounting from Bloomsburg University and an M.B.A. in Finance from Wilkes University.

David Nealon
General Superintendent
Dave Nealon began his construction career in 1990 as a laborer for a Sordoni-affiliated company. He officially joined Sordoni in 1997 and spent his earlier career as Superintendent at the PPL (now Talen) nuclear plant in Berwick. Beginning in 2005, Dave moved from primarily supervising industrial work into commercial, retail, and higher education projects. He was promoted to Senior Superintendent in 2012 and then to his current role as General Superintendent in June 2017. Dave holds a B.S. in Business Administration from King’s College.

Joseph Cholko
Vice President of Accounting & Finance

Mr. Cholko has many years of accounting and finance experience, having had several controllership roles for organizations within the heavy manufacturing and apparel industries. In his current role, he is responsible for developing and directing the Company's analytical and financial plans and policies through the oversight of accounting operations while working directly with the President and leadership team to ensure operations remains on track to hit target revenue goals.  Mr. Cholko is a graduate of the University of Scranton and has an MBA in Finance from St. Joseph's University in Philadelphia.

Robert Obuhosky
Director of Preconstruction

Robert Obuhosky has over twenty-eight years of commercial construction experience with a strong background in estimating and project management. He has significant expertise in all aspects of cost estimating, from conceptual budgets to detailed estimates, as well as target value delivery, risk evaluation, constructibility reviews, and value engineering. He manages the workload and development of the preconstruction/estimating staff and collaborates with owners, architects, subcontractors, and Sordoni team members on projects throughout the many phases of project development and execution. Rob focuses on providing clients with high quality, value-added solutions.

Maria K. Scappaticci
Director of Human Resources

Maria Scappaticci  joined Sordoni’s finance department in 1991. As the Director of Human Resources, she provides expertise and support in the areas of performance management, employee relations, employee engagement, diversity & inclusion, policy and procedure development, and HR compliance. Ms. Scappaticci holds a B.S. degree in Accounting and Computers & Information Systems from King’s College and an M.B.A. in Finance from the University of Scranton.

Noreen M. Bertinelli
Director of Marketing

Noreen Bertinelli  joined Sordoni in September of  2006 bringing with her previous experience as a business owner and entrepreneur.  As Director of Marketing, Noreen is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and measuring of all marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both internal and external.  She received her certification in Integrated Digital Marketing from Pennsylvania State University.
